Good practices today can provide a brighter tomorrow!

People worldwide are working together in recycling programs and for recycling organizations to help promote the cause.  According to a study commissioned by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in 2001, the recycling and reuse industry employs 1.1 million people nationwide.

Textile recycling is a growing worldwide business that assists many less fortunate people in various parts of the world.

Textile recycling creates benefits for humanity; some of which include:

  • Providing a consistent, free or reasonably priced source of good, reusable clothing available to all.
  • Creating job opportunities for people of varying skill and responsibility levels.
  • Contributing to the well-being of those whose means do not provide for proper attire.
  • Providing a healthier environment through products made from recycled textiles such as air, water & fuel filters.
  • The recycling process produces only a fraction of the waste water and uses only a fraction of the energy as the production process.
